Before You Purchase

By placing an order through Sand + Canvas or purchasing at an in-person event, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to the policies outlined on this page.

Shipping Information

Orders placed Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days after payment has been successfully authorized. Customized or personalized orders are typically processed and shipped within 4–5 business days.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

Processing times are estimates and may be extended during holidays, promotional periods, high-order-volume periods, vendor events, or for large/bulk orders.

Once an order has been shipped, delivery times are determined by the shipping carrier and are outside of Sand + Canvas's control. We are not responsible for carrier delays caused by weather, natural disasters, service interruptions, labor disruptions, holidays, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Orders returned due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address may be subject to additional shipping charges before reshipment.

Shipping Charges

All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. No exceptions.

Inspection & Approval

Sand + Canvas reserves the right to determine whether returned merchandise meets return eligibility requirements. Return eligibility is determined after inspection of the item upon receipt.

If a returned item does not qualify for a refund, the customer may request the item be shipped back at their expense. If return shipping is not arranged within 14 days, the item may be discarded.

Defective or Incorrect Orders

If you receive an item that is defective or if we made an error with your order, please contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery at sales@sandandcanvas.com with photos of the issue. We will work with you to make it right.

Return Shipping

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect or an error on our part.

Lost, Stolen, or Missing Packages

Sand + Canvas is not responsible for packages that are marked as delivered by the shipping carrier but are subsequently lost, stolen, or misplaced. Customers are encouraged to contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim and investigate delivery issues.

Reporting Shipping Issues

Any issues related to shipping, delivery, damaged shipments, missing items, or orders not received must be reported to sales@sandandcanvas.com within 30 calendar days of the shipment date. Claims reported after 30 calendar days may not be eligible for review or resolution.

Sand + Canvas reserves the right to require photographic documentation and carrier claim information before issuing any replacement or refund related to shipping issues.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Customized or personalized items

  • Engraved items

  • Gift cards

  • Clearance or final sale merchandise

  • Items purchased using promotional discount codes.

  • Items purchased at in-person markets, festivals, fairs, or pop-up events.

Signs of Wear

For health, hygiene, and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns on items that show evidence of use.

Examples of wear include, but are not limited to:

  • Scratches, dents, tarnishing, stretching, or damage

  • Perfume, lotion, makeup, sunscreen, or other residue

  • Smoke, fragrance, or other odors

  • Pet hair, dirt, or debris

  • Missing tags or packaging

  • Evidence that the item has been worn for any period beyond initial inspections

Items returned with signs of wear will not qualify for a refund.

Returns

Unopened and unused items may be returned within 7 calendar days of delivery for a refund. To be eligible for a return, items must remain unopened, unworn, unused, and in their original packaging.

Return requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the delivery date. Returns requested after 7 calendar days will not be accepted.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
